Leopard Tags 2018

We would like to request all those NAPHA members who were unsuccessful in their application for Leopard Tags for the 2018 hunting season to please contact the Office and provide us with a copy of the rejection letter received from MET (including the reason given for the rejection); as well as a formal letter from yourself stating your dissatisfaction at not receiving a tag and the reason for your dissatisfaction. All correspondence in this regard must be provided to the Office no later than close of work on Monday, 29 January.
NAPHA will attempt to address your concerns with MET regarding this matter, but can only do so if sufficient correspondence is received from our members to justify a valid objection from NAPHA.

ICC Networking Reception in Las Vegas

29 January 2018

Fellow wildlife conservationists:

As many of you know, our efforts at various workshops and meetings, including Crucial 2 Conservation (C2C), have led to the creation of the International Conservation Coalition (ICC). Its mission?
Our mission is to promote broader public understanding and the critical importance of modern day wildlife conservation and habitat stewardship. Globally.
Part of the responsibility of the ICC is to monitor and provide media savvy individuals to help communicate the importance of wildlife management, including consumptive management tools.
As participants at the SCI Convention kicking off on 31 January, we invite you to attend our discussion. If you are attending, please RSVP by email.

We need to save the bees

Note to members

We would like to invite all members to pick up a copy (or more) of the 2018 HuntiNamibia from the office.  There are also a few other hunting magazines and rifle catalogues available, all free of charge.

All NAPHA embroidered shirts are still on sale. N$100 per T-shirt, N$200 per button shirt. Only while stocks last.

Fully paid up members are reminded to collect their renewed membership cards. First Aid Certificates and Bow Hunting Certificates (available from Monday) can also be collected from the Office. Please note that all courses are required to be paid in full prior to certificates being released.

NHP Group Medical Aid Scheme

Most major Namibian medical aid providers offer group schemes to companies that guarantee a certain number of clients. NAPHA has this benefit with NMC and Nammed already, however, our NHP group falls short by just a few members that would make up the required group of 10.

Reduced costs are the main benefit of being able to register for a group scheme.

Help us form a NHP group by contacting the NAPHA Office with our medical aid card and ID.
