PDN Hunting Guide Course

15 August 2018

On Wednesday, 15 August, the Deputy Minister of MET Ms Bernadette Jagger, Director of Scientific Services Ms Elly Hamunyela and Deputy Director of Parks and Wildlife Mr Johnson Ndokosho took time out of their busy schedules to meet with Mr Volker Grellman, owner of ERPHAN (Eagle Rock Professional Hunting Academy Namibia) and NAPHA representatives to address the Hunting Guide Course students at Etango Ranch, currently enrolled for the PDN (Previously Disadvantaged Namibians) course. The students listened attentively, whilst the Deputy Minister made it clear that they should use this opportunity to the best of their abilities and hard work will be followed by success.

The PDN Hunting Guide Course takes place annually at Etango Ranch. Mr Grellmann and NAPHA CEO Tanja Dahl wanted to use this opportunity to welcome the new Deputy Minister and introduce her to this well-established education program.

NAPHA Gala Evening and Sponsorships

27 November 2018

While the AGM provides a chance to make your voice heard, the Gala Evening is there to enjoy while catching up with friends and colleagues to review the year that has passed. The auction taking place during the evening is also the main fundraiser for NAPHA. All funds raised here are what makes it possible for the Association to continue operating.

We, therefore, call upon our members to contribute to this very important event. Here are some ideas:

For the organisation of the event:
  • Any financial contribution toward the smooth running of the AGM: contribute toward the cost of our sound technician or photographer, sponsor the lunch/dinner or welcoming drinks, provide mints or chocolates for the day or contribute toward the venue hire.
For the Auction:
  • Weekend getaways to your lodge or farm
  • Activity vouchers for game drives, horse back rides or sundowner drives. Or if you are from the coast; boat cruises, beach exursions, cocktails in the dunes, etc.
  • Game animals or livestock: 2017 saw a sable antelope and a Brahman bull on auction
  • Meat donations, e.g game carcass
  • Trophy hunts, e.g 5 day plains game hunt
  • Own use or meat hunts
Should you be unsure about a donation you wish to make, contact the office at 061 234 455. Any support is highly appreciated.

In exchange for a sponsorship, we provide marketing opportunities to a wide audience.
