New Membership Fees for Hunting Assistants and Camp Attendants

We are delighted to confirm that our Exco has revised fees for Hunting Assistants and Camp Attendants. This category can only be confirmed if an individual does not fall into any of the other existing categories. Any person qualifying for this category is required to be an employee of a Hunting Professional or an employee of an Employer deriving income via hunting related activities.

This annual membership category was announced during our AGM at a specially reduced rate of NAD350.00 per year. Should such individual qualify for another category, the category will be amended after ending of the current cycle and fees will be increased accordingly.
We encourage employers to make use of this opportunity to register employees as NAPHA members to assure they qualify for discounts when participating in courses, are eligible for discounted medical aid rates, qualify for rebated air travel, etc.

Approval of Marketing Material

A number of members submitted their marketing material for MET approval via the NAPHA Office. Although we have followed up on the approvals, we have not received official notification as yet. We realise that most members are under time constraints of having their material printed and shipped to the Conventions and therefore recommend that proof of submission of material is obtained prior to going to print.
We will provide an update as soon as we have received feedback.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to attend our AGM.
We trust that you found the AGM informative and that you enjoyed the evening with us. We welcome suggestions and ideas for the next round.

A special thank you to Air Namibia and FNB Namibia.
Air Namibia sponsored three return flights Windhoek - Frankfurt to the respective winners of our two medal sales categories.
FNB Namibia took care of all the award money for our winners in various categories.

About the Spirit of the African Wilderness
by Kai-Uwe Denker

The German original of 'About the Spirit of the African Wilderness' appeared in 2014. It was described as "the best elephant book ever published“.
Now finally the English version available. Unfortunately, the shipment from Singapore was delayed, so that the book will only arrive in Namibia in January 2019.
Colleagues who nevertheless would like to order and pay before Christmas, can do so at a reduced price of NAD850,00 (VAT inclusive) and receive an attractive gift voucher.
The CIC World Game Cook Book

Those who were at the Council meeting in Bucharest recently, already received a brief introduction to The CIC World Game Cook Book project, proposed by Prof. Dr. Soňa Chovanová Supeková and Prof. Dr. Torsten Mörner.
In order to kick-off the project, you are now requested to submit traditional recipes from your country - please consult the attached documents for further information, as follows:

- Request for recipes (please appoint a responsible person from your country/Delegation)
- Instructions for submitting the recipes
Please note that countries of the CIC Coordination Forum for Central and Eastern Europe should submit their proposals to Prof. Dr. Soňa Chovanová Supeková, all other countries should send their input to Prof. Dr. Torsten Mörner. They will get in contact with you or with the person who you appoint as responsible in your country for this initiative.
